DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF ILLINOIS?
Most definitely yes! I love to travel. I make trips to Florida, Kentucky and California yearly.
How long are the sessions?
The Sessions are generally an hour. Horses can act like a hangry 3yr old sometimes, tantrums and all, but I have the utmost patience and your safety in mind so if I feel we need to wrap it up sooner we will. On the other hand if we go over an hour there's no need to worry. I don't even wear a watch! Same goes for family and pet sessions.. we all need a break sometimes, better yet a dance break … it happens ;)
Do You offer mini sessions
I offer Farm Mini Sessions with a minimum of 3 to book. I have yet to offer Family Mini Sessions at a set location but that may be an option for Fall of 2026 ;)!
Can I ride my horse bareback during the session?
I get asked this a lot and I'm all for it but if you've never ridden your horse bareback please don't make our session the first time. Horses are unpredictable and even the saintly have their days. You and your Trainer know your horse best and your safety is my utmost concern.
Can I bring my dog/dogs?
Yes! Whether it's an Equine Session or Family Session the answer is always YES unless of course your dog likes to eat photographers then maybe not.
Is the session fee included in the pACKAGE PRICES?
No. The session fee is separate from the package prices. Think of it as more of a service fee for my time, talent and travel. You may only see me for a short amount of time but many hours go into carefully editing a beautiful gallery of images for you to cherish for a lifetime. Once your proof gallery is delivered you will then have the option to purchase an offered package or purchase prints, wall art or albums a la carte.
Do I have to be included in the photos?
No, not necessarily but I do encourage it. It truly depends on the type of session we're doing. Capturing the love we share with our animals is something I thrive on. The day they are no longer with us is when we cherish those captured moments the most. I just want to capture a few tender moments so please reconsider because in the end it's not about how we looked it's the connection that matters most.
When can I expect to see the full proof gallery?
Currently turn around time is approximately 2-3 weeks. During busy season it may take 3-4 weeks. Sneak peeks are delivered within 48 hours.
